Department Officers
Michelle Bubemyre
Chief
Chief Bubemyre is a certified Paramedic, Fire Fighter, EMS Instructor and is also a Registered Nurse. Chief Bubemyre is responsible for the overall operation of the department, as well as scheduling, payroll, and IT. Chief Bubemyre also serves as the Fiscal Assistant for the Township.
Jamie Pearson
Assistant Chief
Assistant Chief Pearson is an Ohio Certified Paramedic, and is responsible for medical and building supplies, and EMS billing. Assistant Chief Pearson also serves as Treasurer for the St. Clair Township EMS Association.
Randy Johann
Captain
Randy Johann began his public safety career in 1973 as an Explorer Scout with Evendale Fire Department. He worked at the Sharonville Fire Department from 1977 to 2007 first as a volunteer, then as part-time paid firefighter/paramedic and then as a full-time Lieutenant/Paramedic. During his years at Sharonville, he served their non-profit Sharonville Fire Department Club as their Treasurer for over twenty five years.
In 2007 Randy left Sharonville Fire, joining Deerfield Township Fire/Rescue where he remained until late 2019.
Randy joined St. Clair Township-New Miami Life Squad in 2014, then was promoted to the rank of Captain in 2017. Randy has worked diligently to improve the education programs and promote a culture of safety.
Concurrently, Randy has been an EMS Coordinator for TriHealth’s Bethesda North Hospital and Bethesda Arrow Springs Emergency Departments building relationships with area Fire and EMS leaders while striving to improve patient care in the communities they serve.
Randy is also a Commercial rated pilot and loves to fly.
Andy Ryerson
Captain
Captain Ryerson began his EMS career in 2009 as a volunteer EMT with Turtlecreek Township in Warren County, moving on to fill part time and then full time positions with the department until 2017. He earned his Advance EMT certification in 2011 and his Paramedic certification in 2014. He has also worked for the City of Lebanon Division of Fire as a part-time Fire-Fighter/Paramedic from 2015 until 2021.
Captain Ryerson joined St. Clair Township New Miami Life Squad in 2015, and was promoted to the rank of Captain in 2017. Captain Ryerson is responsible for the new hire process, SOPs, and uniforms. Captain Ryerson also serves as the President of the St. Clair Township EMS Association.
Mike Farthing
Captain
Captain Farthing is an Ohio Certified Advanced EMT, Firefighter, and sworn Law Enforcement Officer. Captain Farthing is responsible for building and vehicle maintenance. He was promoted to the rank of Captain in 2020.
